From before the time I knew "walk your talk" was even a thing, I walked my talk. I find it very, very hypocritical to tell others to be a certain way or do certain things when we ourselves aren't being that way or doing those things first.

Today, I'm writing to you from San Antonio, Texas, from Brené Brown's Daring Way facilitator training!!! I am about to meet my all-time hero: Brené Brown! Every two hours, I kept waking up wondering if she was in the building or if I could psychically sense her lol! Crazy, I know.

As I'm sitting here waiting for her Daring Way facilitator training to start, I already tipped over my full cereal bowl, spilled my tea, and dropped half my almonds. Lol! I'm THAT nervous and excited to meet Brené.

Why? Because she was the very first person in my life who said and taught me that I am enough. I spent my entire life feeling not enough and being told by my Asian parents that I'm not enough, no matter what long list of miraculous achievements I amassed. Brené was the first person for me to ever research and name THE thing that ate away at my soul every single day: shame.

I wouldn't wish that kind of silent suffering on anyone. Oh hold on, she just walked in. OMG! I gotta go. Squeeeeal!

Wish me 5 days of discomfort, shame storm, and transformational breakthroughs!

P.S. She started the training with: Y'all ready for this? I couldn't help but cue the Space Jam theme song in my head. I bet now it's stuck in your head too. You're welcome ;)

With infinite grace, freedom on!
